Common sense
I have just noticed, that in Russian we say "здравый смысл" = "sane/correct sense". Whilst in English you get "common sense". By this we may conclude that the sane sense is the one which is common, i.e. acceptable by all entities in the Universe. It is certainly a hypothesis.
Early message
Hello there!
I'm writing this message from my work place. It is 2:48 am, saturday. You may say "he is a geek".
The thing is - it's Christmas time coming! Work, work! :-)

Jazz Fusion
Hi!
Yes, I seem to be becoming a fan of jazz fusion!
It is amazing, how they can merge different styles, like you would be listening to many different-styled songs at once without having a pizza of disappointing sounds :)
I like it. Listen to this thingy.
Good luck!

Skype for work
[16:24:47]me: I keep disseminating the skype-culture :)
[16:27:15] Martin: :)
[16:28:09] me : sometimes people are more conserative. But good sign for those not still using skype is, to my mind, good sport condition. Running around office here and there, you know
[16:29:07] Martin: we could actually have a mail man. let's say you leave a note on your table with the recipient and someone comes and delivers it
[16:29:11] Martin: to the next table.
[16:30:08] me: yes. Would you suggest having a full time paid_only_for_mail_delivery man here?
[16:33:49] Martin: of course we'd want the top quality service.
[16:34:31] me: :)
And what do you use for synchronizing work with your colleagues?
[16:27:15] Martin: :)

Today I have discovered an unusual logical bug in my program which creates balls with certain radius (see 3 posts back). When the density of them exceeds a certain threshold, which is ballons are so close that they are overlapping, the ballons are starting to push each other! And every next balloon overlapping with the pre-existinig one(s) is being simply dropped which results in irregularities across a whole set of ballons.

- Excuse me, but this is in Russian (about my play in Yandex Cup 2007)

Beautiful math
Jazzzzz
Hello there!
Something has changed rather recently in my music interests: I do pay now more attention to jazz. The classical creatures by Louis Armstrong are on top for me.
There has been a jazz evening in russian Saint-Petersburg we participated with my new friends I met occasionally in a train. The club has a name JFC = Jazz Fusion Club. As far as I got it the 'F' stands for fusion for the club having an effort to mix different styles with jazz.
In the beginning of this week I have read a local finnish newspaper Heili and found an advertisement for the coming concert in the central theater of the jazz band Jazzkerho-76: Funk Helsinki.
Well, I'm happy to admit it was wonderful! The music itself surely wasn't meant to be a background for a beer and friends talks. The first row has disappeared (guys might didn't like the music or may be to loud for them?) just right after the concert start. Good news for us, sitting close to center of an auditorium: making better photos and having better contact with eyes of musicians.
I have considired the music to have quite a few moments of philosophy offering to think while you enjoy the sound. Despite a bit more louder volume of sound then acceptable to fully enjoy (as one would do at home controlling the volume, basses etc) - nearly all spectators were engaged in common process.

Cross Grid
Hello there!
Yesterday I had created a grid of points (an ESRI shape file). When I had opened it through the OpenEV viewer, I'd got to see that it looks a correct grid. Every point as a geometry was represented in a form of a green cross. I had started scrolling the mouse wheel and got amazed. When zoomed out a lot, till picture comes to center of a screen, the grid resembles its atomic element: a green cross! Grid approaches the cross as long as you zoom out. What happens then? It becomes exactly a cross!
That gives another illustration of an idea, that every atomic part of something compound reminds us the whole given the whole is constructed using same atomic parts.
P.S. Do you see an atom with electron(s) when looking into a mirror?

Hello, World
Hi! Yes. I have decided to have a blog from now on. One reason was to disseminate what comes to my hands - information, knowledge, impressions - in a consistent and centralized way. I hope, the feature of centralization won't imply having a single point of failure on hard/soft-ware level.
Let's keep it moving! Yaaaaaaahooooooooooooo! :)
